    A Nine-Indicator Decree for environment and food safety assessment derived and circulated by the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad to executive departments, provincial offices and affiliated institutions
     According to the Information Center of the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad, Director General for the Office of Environment and Food Safety expressed today on Tuesday 26th Dec. 2017 at Training Workshop held on Safety and Social Liability that the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad aims at analysis of the status quo of the environment and food safety in the entire complex of the Ministry nationwide.
     "So far, no such analysis conducted on the impacts of agricultural activities e.g. agronomic, horticulture, livestock, fisheries and development of pressure irrigation on the environment and food safety.” Indicated by Dr. Saadat.
   He also disclosed that using the indicators for assessing and analyzing the impacts of various agricultural activities on the environment and food safety, would lead us to precise determination of consistency rate of these interventions with sustainable development trend.
    Director General of the Environment and Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad remarked on biodiversity and sensitive ecosystems activities, monitoring and management of contaminants, residues and wastewater in agriculture sector, environmental strategic plans, sustainable development, implementation of the environmental pattern and green management in various sections are the main pivots of these indicators.
